Overboard

One of the funniest movies of the year in my books. A wealthy spoilt brat (Derbez) falls overboard from his yacht giving him amnesia, and an angry single mom who once worked in his yacht convinces him they are married with kids, putting him to work as he did her previously. The end is humorous, and I’ll leave you to find that out if you already haven’t.

On Chesil Beach

This is far the most entertaining romance movie because it talks about the rarest occurrence in relationships in marriage. Looking at a newlywed couple in 1962 (Howle and Ronan) on their honeymoon but nervous and scared to have sex because they both remained virgins until they were married. Hilarious to see this in the 21st century as it brings a new perspective to relationships many do not experience if you know what I mean.

A cyborg named Alita (Salazar Rosa) struggles to learn her purpose and identity only to discover that she was an angel of death. Tell us what you think as well as any other romantic movies that you think might have rocked 2018 in your books.
