If you remembered what it was like 10 years ago when you first watched Heroes, then you will be thrilled to know that Heroes Reborn is set to launch real soon. Yep, the new upcoming TV shows will be continuing the story from the previous Heroes, as well as introducing new casts and players. Some of the old casts will be involved in the production, while the newer and younger stars will be included as well.
NBC has finally decided that Heroes Reborn is worth watching, setting up a 2-episode new pilot for the series revival. You can still expect some of the old casts like Masi Oka (as Hiro), Jack Coleman (H.R.G), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh), and Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian). For the new members, there will be Zachary Levi (remember him from Chuck? Or from the upcoming Thor: The Dark World), Danika Yarosh (from Shameless), Robbie Kay (from Once Upon a Time), Kiki Sukezane (from Death Yankee 3), Gatlin Green (from Criminal Minds), Judith Shekoni (from Twilight Sage the Breaking Dawn part 2), Rya Kihlstedt (from Masters of Sex), Henry Zebrowski (from A to Z), and Ryan Guzman (from The Boy Next Door).
It wouldn’t be Heroes if the story isn’t complicated and mysterious. The setting takes place a year later after the Odessa’s terrorist attack. After what happened to the city, the place was left decimated. Those with extraordinary abilities are blamed for the tragic event, forcing them to run or hide – almost similar to the faith of the mutant from X-Men. But the faith of these extraordinary people is intertwining between one another, although they start off from being alone and having their own plan. For instance, vigilantes like Joanne (Shekoni) and Luke (Levi) are in the middle of their own mission to avenge their loss. While Noah Bennet or HRG (Coleman), has completely got out of the radar, but then Quentin Frady (Zebrowsky), a conspiracy theorist, manages to find him and then reveals the truth about Odessa tragedy to him.
Others are still trying to find balance after they know about their own abilities; trying to keep themselves hidden from the eye of the world while controlling their powers. Such what happens to Tommy (Kay), the awkward teenager who just wants to be normal and win the heart of his crush, Emily (Green). However, he will soon find out that such thing will never happen with such power like his. Malina (Yarosh), the ethereal teen, has even had destined future and brought up in sheltered surrounding. While Miko (Sukezane), a quiet young woman in Tokyo, is hiding a powerful strength and ability while trying to find her father at the same time. at the same time, Erica (Kihlstedt) has her own plan while Carlos (Guzman), a former soldier rises up to be a hero. Their faith will soon meet path with one another; we only need to wait and see.
The writer, Tim Kring, also acts as the executive producer, alongside with James Middleton and Peter Elkoff. For the premiere, Heroes Reborn will be on air on NBC on Thursday, September the 24th.
